Ryan Roberts is a professional makeup artist based in Los Angeles, California and has worked in many different mediums of makeup from film/tv to bridal and fashion.

 

Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Ryan got started in the makeup industry while attending college at Winthrop University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Performance. Having performed on the stage and in various film works since the age of twelve, Ryan was no stranger to makeup artistry, however it wasn't until 2006 when he got his first taste of being behind the makeup brush instead of in front of it, leading to his first ever professional photo shoot. 

 

Since then he has pursued makeup as a career off and on until 2012 when he moved to Los Angeles and began to pursue it as a full time career. Pulling on his theatrical background and experience, Ryan's makeup style is a flexible and adaptable one steeped in professionalism, allowing him to work in any environment easily. 

 

Inspired by the aesthetic styles of artists like Roshar and Scott Barnes, Ryan prides himself on his ability to create flawless, natural-looking skin and enhance a client's natural features. Some of his clients have included Starkillers, Dark Beauty Magazine, T-Mobile, and Vitalio Vera Designs.
